May began with a Missions Conference in Connecticut. Praise the Lord they now send monthly support! WHAT-A-BLESSING!

After leaving CT, we traveled to Tennessee. En route to our next meeting, we heard a loud noise come from the back of the bus…….it was down hill from there. Within minutes we were parked at a gas station. Of course, at a time like this, discouragement sets in. We looked over and where we were “parked” were several county school buses. One of the drivers approached Cedric and asked if we needed help. It was Wednesday afternoon, so we had to cancel our meeting. However, around 6:40 PM a wonderful couple showed up and said, “We are here to take you to our church!” We were thrilled to be their guests. Long story short, we were down for 2 days and the Lord sent the “Ravens”. These Ravens provided lodging, food and finances! It was amazing to experience the watch care the Lord places over us. What a wonderful Heavenly Father!

We were honored to be in a supporting church, Oakside Baptist in GA for their Spring Revival. Dr. Max Barton and Dr. Tom Wallace were the guest preachers and both did a tremendous job sharing the Word of God; hearts were stirred and lives were changed. We sure love Pastor Steve Curry and the fine folks at Oakside!

After leaving GA, we made our way to beautiful Quarryville, PA. We spent about 2 weeks Amish Country and were privileged to help several churches with their music ministry. One church is a church plant meeting in a business complex……in “business” for the Lord! Please pray they are able to extend their lease and/or find a larger meeting place.

The last 3 weeks of June were spent in South Jersey. This was our first time in New Jersey. Admittedly, we “country bumpkins” were a bit nervous. However, the fine folks of Jersey and Philly are so hospitable and welcoming. We were honored to be in seven churches while in these areas. Two of these are church plants in the inner city of Philadelphia. This was a new and exciting experience for us. . We worked with their music, training song leaders and pianist. On Monday we passed out tracts and went site-seeing in downtown Philly………..

WHAT-A-BLESSING!

Pray as we continue to raise our monthly support. If your church is having a missions conference or missions emphasis, please let us know. We would LOVE to be a partner in ministry with YOU.

I Have Been Blessed

When he walks among us, all that He does, all of His mercy and all of His love. If the pen of the writer, could write everyday, even this world could never contain. How I have been blessed.

Warmth in the Winter, flowers in Spring, laughter in Summer, the changing of leaves. Food on my table, a good place to sleep, clothes on my back, and shoes on my feet. Oh, I have been blessed.

*Chorus*

I have been blessed. God’s so good to me. Precious are His thoughts of you and me. No way I could count them, there’s not enough time, so I’ll just thank Him for being so kind. God has been good, so good, I have been blessed.

Arms that can raise, and a voice that can talk, hands that can touch, and legs that can walk. Ears that can listen, and eyes that can see, Oh. I’ve got to praise Him as long as I breathe. Cause I have been blessed.

A Father and Mother, who nurtured and raised. A sister and brother and memories made. Our pastor to lead us, this altar to pray, stripes that can heal and Blood that can save. Oh, I have been blessed.

*Chorus*

We live in a country, the greatest on Earth. Our flag stands for freedom, and what it is worth. She stands in the Harbor, Ms. Liberty calls. All have gave some, but some gave it all, for me to be blessed.

He’s my shoulder to lean on, when I am down. The rock where He leads me, when I’m overwhelmed, the place where He hides me, under His wing, He’s not just a song, He’s the reason I sing. Oh, I have been blessed.

I have been blessed. God’s so good to me. Precious are His thoughts of you and me. No way I could count them, there’s not enough time, so I’ll just thank Him for being so kind. God has been good, so good, I have been blessed.

*Tag*

God has been good, so good, I have been blessed.

We are busier than ever and loving every second that God allows us to serve Him!  What an honor.  This past month we have been somewhat local with our music ministry.  We have been in FL, SC and NC!  God has moved in a tremendous way in most of the services we have been a part of and we praise Him for that.

We hope to see many of you soon.  Please keep in touch!

Below is our most recent family picture:

We left sunny Florida the first of March and headed North!  What are we thinking????

Our travels this month have taken us to SC for a revival where Evangelist Randy Sutherland was the main speaker.  We had an awesome time watching the Lord move among the hearts of the people.

We then headed to NC and were able to spend a few days with Tonya's family as well as sing at a few area churches.

Then, on to WV for a Wednesday evening service.  At the close of the service we received a call from our dear friends, the Tallent family informing us that Brother Bill, who has been suffering from cancer for about 5 years was in ICU and not expected to live.  We left WV and headed back home to be with the family.  God allowed us a sweet time with Brother Bill and we were able to say our good-byes before this Godly husband, father and friend crossed over Jordan.  Tonya was able to sing "I Won't Have to Cross Jordan Alone" to him just before he took his final breath.  You could feel the Holy Spirit in the room and we had a time of praising the Lord!

After the funeral services we headed back North to TN and MI where we will be in several churches and a friends wedding.

GOD IS SO GOOD TO US!  We are blessed....staying busy....and looking forward to the future that God has planned for us.
